Rainbow eucalyptus is an evergreen, tropical tree that is native to the Philippines. It is growing in popularity as an ornamental.
The trees beautiful colours start showing themselves when the tree is about half an inch thick. Contrary to popular belief, it is not the bark of the tree that is colourful. The thin bark flakes away to reveal the tinted wood underneath.
