DRAGON FLOWER / LEEUBEKKIE / SNAPDRAGON - Anthirrhinum - CANDY PINK Mix - 30 SEEDS
A selection of Pink Hues
Snapdragons (Antirrhinum majus) are cool-season annuals or short-lived perennials famous for their tubular blooms that "snap" open like a dragon's mouth when squeezed
Flowers branch from the base to form an effective border background.
The stems are sturdy, making them ideal as cut flower.
Snapdragons can be grown throughout the year in most regions of South Africa, but they prefer the cooler months, and in the heat of summer they can sulk and stop blooming for a while, resuming once the weather cools down again. In the winter rainfall regions, snapdragons are traditionally sown or planted out in autumn before the winter rains arrive, and are considered great water-wise annuals. In hot and humid regions snaps are also planted in autumn for a winter and early spring show.
Sow thinly, do not cover seeds but lightly press and keep moist with tepid water.
