WILD GARLIC - "Purple Flower" Tubaghia Violacea - 20 SEEDS

R 15

A clump-forming perennial with narrow leaves and large clusters of fragrant, violet flowers from midsummer to autumn. Very striking when mass-planted in your garden to create a colourful display.

An edible plant, and can be used as substitute for garlic and chives in cooking. This attractive plant is ideal for the herb garden, as both the leaves and flowers can be used in salads and other dishes.

It can be used as an edging plant, along a pathway and displayed in a rockery. Drought -resistant , low-maintenance and easy to grow.  The crushed leaves may be used to help cure sinus headaches and to discourage moles from the garden (by their strong smell). The smell repels fleas, ticks and mosquitoes when crushed on the skin.
