ZINNIA CALIFORNIA GIANT 'Shocking Pink' - 20 SEEDS - Large Cut Flower

Zinnia 'California Giant' is a classic heirloom variety, famous for their massive, dahlia-like blooms that can reach up to 15 cm (6 inches) in diameter on sturdy stems reaching heights of 1.2 metres (4 feet). 
Bloom Time: Mid-summer until the first frost.    A certified magnet for bees, hummingbirds, and butterflies. 
Zinnias were the first flowers to bloom in space, grown on the International Space Station in 2016.
The colorful petals are edible and can be used as a garnish for salads, desserts, and cold drinks.
They have a rare biological habit where the more you harvest the flowers for vases, the more the plant is stimulated to produce new blooms. 
When your plant is about 20 cm tall, pinch off the central growing tip. It feels wrong to remove the first bud, but it forces the plant to branch out, giving you 35 times more flowers than an un-pinched plant.
